Every city keeps some records, and ChatVille is no exception. This page lists what chatville.cam writes down while you are here, why each item exists and how to have it erased. It speaks only for chatville.cam, an independent site with no tie to chatville.com. If a line reads like fog, email us and a person will translate it into plainer words.

The ledger we keep
Running live calls between strangers leaves a trail. Here is the full list of what lands in our records:
- Your account basics: chosen nickname, sign-in method, the age you confirmed, preferred language and settings.
- Whatever you pin to your own profile, a photo say, or a sentence of self-description, plus your follow list in both directions.
- Words you type through ChatVille, whether mid-match or in direct messages.
- A log of each match: start time, duration and whether it ran on camera, voice or text.
- Coin packs, VIP periods and gifts, together with the receipt our payment partner passes along. Card numbers never reach our servers.
- Reports you send, reports filed about you and any moderator notes attached to them.
- Device clues such as browser version, a rough region worked out from your IP address and crash logs.

Your lens and your voice
Picture and sound stream directly between you and the stranger on the other side for as long as the match lasts. ChatVille keeps no routine recording of an ordinary call. When someone files a report, the moderators may look at material linked to that session, for example a captured frame or the typed lines, to judge whether the rules were broken.
Your browser guards the camera and microphone, not us. ChatVille gets access only after that browser prompt and your yes, and a trip to the browser settings revokes it whenever you change your mind. Text mode never asks.

What each record is for
- Pairing you with strangers and keeping calls and messages running.
- Building the match card with nickname, age, country, language and level.
- Holding the 18+ line, processing reports and enforcing the house rules.
- Delivering coins, switching on VIP and running the Reward Center countdown.
- Chasing bugs, blocking fraud and keeping the lights on.

Who else gets a look
The stranger in your match sees your card and whatever your camera, mic or keyboard chooses to share. Past that, records go only to the companies that help keep ChatVille running, such as hosting, payments and translation, and each gets the minimum it needs. Selling the records of the people who spend their nights here is something ChatVille simply does not do. Records reach the authorities only when a court or statute compels it, or when someone appears to be in grave danger.

How long records stay on file
Account records live as long as the account does. Payment receipts stay for whatever period bookkeeping law demands. Notes about serious rule breaks can outlast the account that earned them, which stops a removed troublemaker from strolling straight back in. Device logs roll off on a short cycle.
/ 06
Clearing your records
Send a note to [email protected] from your account email to ask for a copy of your records, a fix to anything wrong, or a full wipe. Closing an account also closes out its unused coins and remaining VIP time. Camera and mic permission is yours to pull back in browser settings at any hour.
/ 07
Grown-ups only
The city is closed to anyone below 18, or below the age of majority in their country. ChatVille does not knowingly gather records about young people, and whenever an account turns out to be a minor’s, both the account and its records are deleted.
